Improving communication between staff and parents at Guiseley School
EduLink One integrates Guiseley School’s learning platform with their SIMS system, meaning that important data can be synchronised between the two systems in real time.
Appropriate data can be made accessible to staff, parents and students via a desktop interface or an app on their tablet or smartphone.
An instant messaging system allows the school to communicate with students, staff and parents via push notifications sent directly to their smartphone – as well as via email and SMS messaging.
Parents can manage their contact data, notify the school if their child is going to be absent, and can also view overall attendance, behavioural and attainment summaries.
Teachers can use the app to quickly and easily take registers, add notes on behavioural incidents or update grades for assignments, reducing the amount of paperwork needed.
Important documents can be sent directly to parents and students through the app, ensuring efficient communication and allowing instant notification when new items are added.
An easy to use dashboard view gives students access to timetables, homework assignments, events calendars and key links within a few clicks.
Students can view their own achievement summaries, behavioural data and attendance, allowing them to take responsibility for their own learning.
The work Titus Learning has done for us has been immense. They have gone above and beyond providing training for staff, and have provided a good looking, professional VLE for us to use.
