About the Customer

Academies Enterprise Trust Academies Enterprise Trust is a Multi Academy Trust in England, with nationwide coverage. The trust educates over 35000 students and employs over 6000 staff, making it one of the largest Trusts in the UK. AET are committed to delivering excellent education and inspiring each and every child to choose a Remarkable Life.

The Challenge

Due to the organisation’s considerable growth , AET acknowledged the need for greater collaboration and a centralised platform. Having adopted G Suite in 2012, the Trust recognised they needed a way to sync data between MIS and G Suite to allow staff and students easy access to up to date information, without compromising security. Timing was also critical due to Covid-19 related school closures.

The Solution

AET wanted to find a way to maximise the potential within G Suite and so approached North27 to provide a service which could automate the transfer of data between MIS and Google. By installing G Sync, AET are able to utilise the apps and features within G Suite, and with the recent acquisition of 9000 Chromebooks, ensuring all children have access to quality digital learning facilities

The Results

By installing our syncing software, G Sync, AET were able to set up 20000 Google Classrooms within two weeks and get 10000 students learning online in one week. 10000 documents created in one day and 1000+ staff trained daily via Google Meet Live Stream Daily. AET have created a 15 day programme for Maths and English online learning during school closures which has been made possible with G Sync.
