VoIP Phone System – Ivel Valley School

Overview

• Ivel Valley School, a special school of 180 pupils located in Bedfordshire, found themselves stuck with their telephone system being handled by an outdated PABX.
• The system was difficult to configure and so expensive to maintain.

Our Approach

Schools Broadband were already providing internet connectivity and filtering services for Ivel Valley, so as a trusted supplier, the school turned to us for an improved telephony solution that could increase efficiency. Schools Broadband rapidly deployed a new hosted VoIP system in the school, including replacement of their outdated handsets with fully up-to-date models. Our phone services are designed especially with schools in mind, to save money and make management easier, so resources can be spent where they have the most benefit – educating and caring for pupils.

Outcome

Ivel Valley found that the Schools Broadband VoIP solution to their telephony problems offered better value for money than the competition and was able to free up staff time as well as the school’s budget so it could be better spent elsewhere.
