The adaptive learning program helping schools boost attainment in science, English and maths (KS3/4)

Tassomai helps students to learn and get their best grades, while also saving teachers time.
Tassomai’s multiple choice micro-quizzes reinforce knowledge through targeted repetition, like flashcards. The quizzes are supported by short explainer videos and curated links to relevant external resources. Every interaction with the program helps the algorithm to learn a student’s strengths and weaknesses; it uses this information to target the gaps in a student’s knowledge and provide feedback to teachers on which areas individuals and entire classes need help with. Powerful knowledge visualisation tools like The Tree enable the student, teachers and even parents to improve the learning experience.
This means that Tassomai saves teachers time in two ways; it teaches AO1s, while also reducing the time they need to spend analysing their students, meaning they can focus on teaching and targeting intervention.
Although Tassomai’s unique algorithm focuses on a student’s weaknesses, it will not ignore their stronger topics, meaning that students benefit from both interleaving and spacing.
Tassomai initially focused on the GCSE science syllabus and built a strong reputation in this subject. Today the program includes Key Stage 3 and 4 maths, English language and English Literature, and even more subjects are available to private subscribing parents! Tassomai is used primarily in England and Wales and by international schools following the GCSE specification.
All of Tassomai’s content is written by subject specialists and teachers, and every topic and theme is directly matched to the specification.
Tassomai believes in demonstrating its impact through evidence, and the company is a founding member of the EdTech Evidence Group. Research shows the impact that Tassomai has on learners and the attainment gap, you can read more about this on the Tassomai website’s Impact page.
Tassomai charges on a per student basis, with schools using the program for years 7-11 paying no more than £5 per student (for each cohort that Tassomai is bought for, the cost per student becomes cheaper). Once signed up to the program, a school will have access to Tassomai until the beginning of the next academic year.
There are also discounts for PiXL schools, bulk orders from MATS and more. Tassomai will confirm a price and clarify which discounts you qualify for before starting your trial.
Tassomai recommends that where possible, schools should buy for entire year groups rather than selected groups of students as this enables teachers to make the most effective use of the data insights provided by the program.
N.B. The information above relates to schools packages. Prices for private subscribers are available here.
Any school can have a one month free trial for any number of students.
